Men also need to go for regular manicures and pedicures. "It will avoid
problems like ingrown and hangnails," says vijay Alexander, a men's stylist
and grooming expert. you needn't go through an elaborate routine. Just the
basics will do for you.
Trim them: Use a nail clipper to trim your nails in a square shape. You
will create hang nails if you cut at corners, and anything more rounder will
give your hands a feminine look.
No roughness: Smooth out the rough edges using a file. Doing this will
ensure that your nails will grow back evenly.
Buff: Three way buffers are available in the market, you could get one for your
self. The side marked 1 will flatten ridges on your nails. The side
marked 2 will give the right shape to your nails and side 3 will give
them the super shine that's reflective of healthy nails.
Push back cuticles: Moisturise your hands with a men's lotion. It'll soften
the cuticles. Using the rounded end of your clipper, push the cuticles
back.
Buff again: Finish off with another round of buffing. But this time
use only the third side on the nail bed.
